デビッド・ギルモアが長年に渡り使用しているBlack Stratoがフェンダーカスタムショップより発売。
デビッド・ギルモア本人と彼のギターテクニシャンであるフィル・テイラーとフェンダーカスタムショップが手を組んでBlack Strato のサウンド、フィーリングそして外観の完全なる復刻機を目指して開発。

３カラー・サンバーストのうえにブラック・カラーをフィニッシュしたアルダー・ボディ（Relic）にブラック・ピックガード、１ピース・ストレイト・グレイン・メイプル・ネック、カスタム・ピックアップ、そして今では有名になったギルモア特有のサーキットと短めのヴィンテージ・トレモロアームを搭載。
ギルモア・シグネイチャー・ギターにはカスタム・ケース、エヴィデンス・オーディオ社製ハイエンド・ギター・ケーブル、Live in GdanskのCD及びDVDパッケージ（DVDのリージョン・コードは米国に設定）そしてフィル・テイラーによる著書The
Black Stratが付属。
